Building trust and confidence among the workforce is an essential component of the leadership challenge
We believe it’s important to remember that a company’s people are not too different from its customers – they need to relate the organisational strategy to their own world, and therefore connect the agenda of the business to their own values and their own experiences of what their business actually does.
Consequently, we look to involve the workforce in the development of our strategic work, either as a reality check, or to gain a sense of the possibilities sometimes overlooked by the leadership. It’s a chance for people to be heard and to contribute.
